Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the adequacy certificate

An adequacy certificate is an official document confirming that the examination arrangements, infrastructure, and facilities at a college are adequate for conducting examinations. It is typically issued as part of the examination readiness and approval process.

You only need the College Code. On entering it, the college name is looked up and filled automatically from the college database, so the certificate carries the correct institution details with minimal typing.

Type the College Code — after 3 characters an autocomplete list of matching colleges appears. When you leave (blur) the field, the code is validated against the college database and the College Name is auto-filled in green, or an error is shown in red if the code is not found. You can manually correct the name if required.

The college name printed on the certificate is taken from the lookup result. Verifying it before submitting ensures the certificate is issued to the correct institution and prevents errors caused by an incorrect or mistyped college code.

If the code is not found, an error message appears in red and the college name is cleared. Double-check the code against your records and re-enter it. If the correct code still does not resolve, the college may not be present in the master database — contact the administrator.

No. Unlike the duty and letter forms, the adequacy certificate only needs the college identification. There are no date pickers or additional fields, which makes it the quickest certificate to generate on the platform.

Yes. Submitted certificates can be retrieved from the records list, edited, and re-submitted. Open the relevant record, correct the details, and save to update the certificate document.

Submitting the form generates a formatted official adequacy certificate containing the college details. It is ready to print on letterhead, sign, and issue as part of the examination arrangements documentation.

Yes — the adequacy certificate generator is completely free for all authorised users of the TSIPE platform. There are no fees, credits, or subscriptions required to generate or print the certificate.
